What started in 2017 as a small, family-run operation out of Newmarket has grown into one of Ontario’s most trusted names in residential windows and doors. With over 10,000 windows and doors installed across the GTA and Southern Ontario, we’ve built our reputation one home – and one happy homeowner – at a time.

Our Story

The Window Experts was founded in 2017 by Igor Kontsevoy, a window and door specialist with more than 15 years of hands-on installation experience. Frustrated by an industry full of high-pressure sales tactics and shortcut installs, Igor set out to build something different: a local company that treats homeowners with honesty, transparency, and craftsmanship that lasts.

Starting with a small crew and a single truck, we focused on doing the job right rather than doing it fast. Word spread through Newmarket, Aurora, and the surrounding GTA, and our team grew alongside our reputation. Today, we serve more than 19 cities across Southern Ontario from Barrie to Niagara Falls with the same boutique, detail-obsessed approach we started with.

We’ve now installed over 10,000 windows and doors, earned 300+ five-star reviews, and become a multi-year HomeStars award winner. But our standard hasn’t changed: every window is measured precisely, every install is handled by our own certified crews (never subcontractors), and every job is backed by our lifetime warranty.
